Unless something else comes along, the first convention I’ll be attending is the New England Webcomics Weekend in Northampton, MA, November 6 and 7. So here’s where I need help and some feedback from my readers. (That’d be you guys.)
Would you Go to NEWW to see me? What types of things would you buy (Shirts, prints, sketches?) Should I give my followers on Facebook/Twitter a secret word that gives them something exclusive? What do you primarily go to cons for?
Give me some feedback, guys. Thanks!
So yeah, how’s it been?
Look, I’ll be honest with you all. I haven’t been the same creatively since my uncle died around my birthday. Not looking for a pity party, just a fact of life. And I have a few paid gigs I need to do before I can work on my own stuff. But I haven’t forgotten you or the story I’m trying to tell. All I’m asking is that you bear with me. Swiftriver will keep going, but at my own pace for a while until I’m back in the right mindset.
Thanks for being patient. I know you want to know what happens next. So do I.
(Oh, and you may want to reset your RSS feeds to the comic. They may have changed when I changed hosting.)
This was a triumph. I’m making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS.
My husband Tom just finished switching Swiftriver‘s hosting to Tiger Tech. He did an amazing job, if I do say so, and I’m so grateful he did it. It took a long time, and he’s wonderful. I just need to do some tweaking as to where some of the images live, so that’s going to happen over the next few days.
In the meantime, I’m working on the next page, plus finishing up the crossover between Wayward Fall and Swiftriver. I’ve got some first generation swag over at Cafepress, and there’s now a Swiftriver Persona over at Firefox. I’m also toying with a Swiftriver custom iPhone case. What would you like to see on such a case?
Oh, and if you missed it, I put an interesting placeholder up while construction was going on.
Hey, heads up guys and gals!
Swiftriver may have some small bumps in the signal in the next few days. I’m switching hosting to Tech Tiger, and OMG can I just say how fabulous they are? They actually respond when there’s a question, and their documentation is very detailed. In the mean time, here are some sock puppets.
