While I was drawing the last panel, I had the distinct feeling I was drawing Sesame Street. I’ve been assured that this is most certainly Boston, and there are no subliminal Muppets.

Only semi-related: I’m watching the Sesame Street episode of Dinner:Impossible right now. Nope, doesn’t look like Sesame Street.
One: There’s a Sesame episode of Dinner:Impossible?
Two: When I was little, I thought Sesame Street was in Boston because of all the brownstones.
Whoa, I LOVE the way you did the building… it looks fantastic, Tricia!!! =) How cool.
And, LOL… it does kind of remind me a bit of Sesame Street now that you mention it… xD
What amuses me is that you’ve got him buying the one with the green door and green frame…the same green as seems to be his favorite color. 🙂 It’s back bay, right?
It’s actually more the Mission HIll/ Kenmore area.
I was going to ask if it was M HIll. My family is from there and I was like “Oh, Tricia drew Phil’s place – wait what?”
All but the typical wrought iron fencing, right? I figured Mission Hill would fit his personality better than Back Bay, right. And everything’s T accessible anyhow. And thanks for the compliment!
PS the building is fantastic and the perspective on it is dead on. Those things are so tricky to do!!! But you nailed it, so congrats!
